With over 28 years’ experience and technical expertise in the world of BANK card business and the Banks network he has built over the last 20 years , Roshaan Kulpoo has been exposed to Banking Innovation environment-Mobile Banking, Payment wallets, Card Payment schemes and several Card Management systems from a functional and technical perspective. After being in the pioneer team for setting up BarclayCard Centre Mauritius in 1990, he joined another Mauritian Bank in 1994 now known as Bank One to head the Card Dept thereby launching a debit card product and implementing a card managementsystem.

In 2005, he joined The Mauritius Commercial Bank as Card Operations Manager. In 2008 he took another challenge as for setting up and bringing a Third Party Processing Centre of The Mauritius Commercial Bank Group (ICPS Ltd) located in Mauritius to the African continent . As General Manager, he set the African strategy enabling the onboarding of banks for ATM/POS driving and Prepaid/Debit and Credit card issuing.

In 2012, Roshaan Kulpoo followed his Advanced Management and Leadership Program at INSEAD In 2017 he founded United Pay Ltd being a business facilitator for banks in their quest for innovative payment solutions, Card business /operationstraining and low cost Third Party Processing solution for card issuing in Africa Since June 2018, Roshaan Kulpoo is now responsible to drive the business development of ANGLO NanoBNK Ltd a leading digital banking ,payment software provider as well as a financial inclusion and Blockchain enabler in Africa. Since Aug 2018, He is also a Fellow Member of MauritiusInstitute of Directors.

Roshaan’s widespread experience in the card and mobile payment field together with a proven track record provide him with the required credentials to regularly assist banks,National Payment Switch, Telcos to define Card, Mobile and Digital Payment Operations and business Strategy in the space of Debit, Prepaid, Credit, Loyalty, Card Acquiring and Card/ATM/POS/mobile business and technology. He now also assists banks and National Switch to have the most innovative card system, DIGITAL BANKING AND PAYMENT PRODUCTS AND SOLUTIONS focused on mobile wallets and apps. Roshaan Kulpoo has a good understanding of the African landscape and has built excellent network with several T1/T2 banks in Africa.
